Stage 1Gradient Sediment
10 → 5 → 1 micron
The outer layer catches larger dirt, rust, and sand. Water then moves through 5 micron before the 1-micron inner layer provides fine sediment filtration. The gradient structure increases dirt-holding capacity and protects the carbon stages.
Stage 2Carbon + KDF
Targeted treatment media
Natural coconut-shell activated carbon is paired with KDF media. Carbon helps reduce chlorine, unwanted taste, and odour; KDF is used for heavy-metal reduction and bacteriostatic performance within the filter media.
Stage 3Sintered Carbon
Final polishing stage
We specify a sintered coconut-shell carbon block. It is formed as a stable porous block rather than relying on chemical adhesive binders, giving water extensive contact with the carbon for final chlorine, taste, odour, and fine-particle polishing.
